COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS

This group provides opportunities for people who are interested in photography to gather to do workshops, go on outings together to take photos , and to teach one another their photography skills and techniques. 

People stay connected and updated on events primarily through WhatsApp.

This men's gather meets bi-monthly at the New Horizons community centre (old church building) for breakfast and fellowship.

The Women's Afternoon Tea, a social gathering with no hidden agenda other than to come together and enjoy each other’s company.

When: Every very 3rd Tuesday of the month (subject to change based on public holidays)

Marg and Janette are extending a warm invite to all women who would like to join. Anyone is welcomed and free to bring friends along too!

A couple of times a year, we provide opportunities for the community to gather and for us to strengthen our relationships with community groups. In the past, we have run festivals and themed music nights such as 'Beatles Night', 'Music Made Famous by the Movies', and 'Classic Hits of the '70s, '80s & '90s'.

Meeting bi-monthly on the second Sunday after church, this group is for anyone who no longer has children living at home. The group usually gathers for lunch at the Whittlesea Pub or the RSL.

This group meets once a month at the Church Community Hub (old church building) and is for those who no longer have children living at home. These social sessions are usually themed and include lunch.
