New Horizons has a one-day a week position available for someone to complete administration work with the key component of the role to support church Pastor’s in the regular operations of the church. Contribution to the development and implementation of new systems and processes along with the wise stewardship of resources are also critical to this role.
People applying must be highly competent with the use of computers, especially with respect to database management, Microsoft Office, website management software, and social media platforms. In addition, the ideal candidate needs to be connected in with the New Horizons church family.
Although work will be completed from the church office and at home because New Horizons values family and social connections, we endeavor to create flexible work arrangements to accommodate employee's out of work commitments.

The Whittlesea Community Resilience Committee, overseen by Ivan Peterson (Whittlesea Uniting Church) has received funding to employ a part time support worker (flexible hours). They are looking for a suitably experienced person to
· assist the committee by arranging community meetings.
· complete administration work for the project
· develop a Community Emergency Response Plan
· develop a Community Emergency Response Network
Ideally, they are looking for someone who loves community and enjoys working with community people, and who are interested in a part time job that can be flexibly organised around their availability and skills base.
All work will be based in the Whittlesea Community with the potential worker able to do the admin work from home or at an office in the Township.
